The Saint Michel neighbourhood
Our favourite spots in Bordeaux's Saint Michel quarter and a little further: Capucins market, the spire, the quays, bars and restaurants near our B&B.
Saint Michel belongs to the authentic Bordeaux — the lived-in, vibrant one that real Bordelais call home. The Gothic spire rises just five minutes away. The Capucins market, the largest in Gironde, is two streets over.
Our favourite spots — most right in the neighbourhood, a few a little further out and worth the trip.
