GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter “GTC”) govern all bookings and stays at B&B Bordeaux Saint Michel. Any booking constitutes unconditional acceptance of these GTC.

 

Article 1 — Service Provider

B&B Bordeaux Saint Michel, a Simplified Joint Stock Company (SAS) registered under SIRET 940 194 939 00010, with its registered office at 24 rue des Fours, 33800 Bordeaux, France. Principal activity: tourist and short-stay accommodation (NAF code 5520Z).

 

Article 2 — Scope of Application

These GTC apply to all bookings made directly on the website bordeauxsaintmichel.com or through any other direct booking channel. Bookings made through third-party platforms (Booking.com, etc.) are subject to those platforms’ own terms and conditions, without prejudice to the house rules set out herein, which apply to all stays.

 

Article 3 — Studios and Capacity

B&B Bordeaux Saint Michel offers four studios (“Rouge”, “Jaune”, “Bleu”, “Blanc”), accommodating between 2 and 4 guests depending on the studio. The number of occupants may not under any circumstances exceed the capacity indicated at the time of booking.

Access restrictions:

  • Children under 8 years of age are not accepted due to the mezzanine beds, which are accessible by ladder only.

  • The property is not suitable for persons with reduced mobility.

  • Pets are not accepted.

 

Article 4 — Rates

Rates are displayed in euros including all taxes on the website bordeauxsaintmichel.com. They vary according to dates and season, starting from €75 per night, breakfast included. Discounts may be offered on direct bookings. The applicable rate is the one displayed at the time of booking.

 

Article 5 — Booking and Payment

5.1 Booking Process

A booking is confirmed upon receipt of a confirmation email. No deposit is required at the time of booking: only a payment authorisation is recorded on the guest’s bank card.

5.2 Charge and Payment Methods

The full amount of the stay is charged 48 hours before the arrival date. For payment methods other than bank card (holiday vouchers, Chorus Pro), please contact us in advance.

 

Article 6 — Cancellation and Modification

6.1 Cancellation by the Guest

  • Free cancellation: up to 48 hours before the arrival date (local Bordeaux time). No charge will be made.

  • Late cancellation: less than 48 hours before arrival, the full amount of the stay is due and will be charged.

6.2 No-show

Any guest who fails to arrive on the scheduled date without prior cancellation will be treated as a late cancellation: the full amount of the stay will be charged.

6.3 Modification of Booking

Any request to modify a booking (dates, studio, number of guests) must be submitted by email or phone. We will respond based on availability and subject to our explicit agreement. No modification is guaranteed.

6.4 Cancellation by the Establishment

In the event of force majeure, the guest will be refunded 100% of any amounts paid, with no additional compensation.

 

Article 7 — Stay Conditions

7.1 Arrival and Departure

  • Check-in: from 2:00 PM. Check-in is self-service via an access code sent the day before. There is no maximum arrival time.

  • Check-out: before 11:00 AM. Late check-out is available as a paid option, offered by email the day before departure, subject to availability.

  • Luggage storage: accessible independently before check-in and after check-out.

7.2 Breakfast

Included in the rate, delivered to the studio door. Adaptations for allergies or intolerances are possible upon prior request.

7.3 House Rules

  • Smoking is prohibited in the studios and all common areas.

  • Parties and events are not permitted.

  • Quiet hours are required between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.

  • Pets are not permitted.

  • Access to the studio is reserved for guests whose names appear on the booking.

 

Article 8 — Liability and Damages

The guest is responsible for any damage caused to the studios, equipment or common areas during their stay. By accepting these GTC, the guest expressly authorises B&B Bordeaux Saint Michel to charge the registered payment method for the actual cost of repair or replacement, within 7 days of departure. The guest will be notified in advance by email.

 

Article 9 — Lost Property

Any item left behind during a stay will be kept in good faith for 30 days. Upon request, items found may be returned by post, with all shipping costs borne entirely by the guest.

 

Article 10 — Personal Data

Data collected at the time of booking is used solely for the purpose of managing the stay and is not shared with third parties. In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify and delete your data. Requests should be sent to: cecilebordeauxsaintmichel@gmail.com.

 

Article 11 — Governing Law and Disputes

These GTC are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the guest is invited to contact us first to seek an amicable resolution. Failing that, the competent court will be that of the company’s registered office.

  • Traffic source

This data may be processed by third-party tools (including Google Analytics) integrated into the Wix platform.

  • Stay-related communications: performance of contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR)

  • Invoicing and accounting obligations: legal obligation (Art. 6.1.c GDPR)

  • Website improvement and traffic analytics: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) and/or consent for non-essential cookies

 

4. Cookies

Our website uses cookies. Some are strictly necessary for the site to function; others, of an analytical or marketing nature, are only placed with your consent.

  • Booking and stay data: 3 years from the end of the stay

  • Invoicing data: 10 years (statutory accounting obligation)

  • Browsing data (analytical cookies): maximum 13 months

 

7. Your Rights

  • Right of rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data
